With seven Super Bowl wins under his belt, Tom Brady is no stranger to celebrating wins. Although his latest reason has nothing to do with NFL.
Posting a family photo to Instagram, the athlete congratulated his parents on 52 years of marriage, proudly commending them on their “amazing accomplishment”.
“When I look at this picture I can’t help but feel an enormous amount of gratitude,” Brady gushed. “Look at what you have created!! I’m thankful to have such incredible role models for myself and my sisters and our kids.”
“We are all so lucky to have you in our lives!!” he continued. “We love you so much and I hope we have more February family reunions to celebrate.”
Brady clearly sees his parents as inspiration for his own relationship — he recently celebrated 12 years of marriage to wife Gisele Bündchen, who he calls his “rock”.
“I married someone that … I know is my life partner,” he told Good Morning America in a 2019 interview.
“She’s just one of the most caring, nurturing people in the world. The way she takes care of our family when I’m working, sacrificing a lot of her dreams. I can only tell her I love her so much.”
Although they’re still very much in love after 12 years of marriage, Brady has admitted in the past that their relationship has had its challenges.
“It’s ships passing in the night. I’m going to football and she’s got things she’s doing… I think we just have to make sure we take time for one another and if you want it to get better and improve, you got to communicate,” he told E! News.
“I want to support her and her dreams. She wants to support me in mine. It’s not like, because I’m a football player her life is going to stop.”
The couple share two children, Benjamin Rein, 11, and daughter Vivian Lake, eight.
Brady is also dad to John Edward, 13, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, 49.
