Priscilla Presley is facing fresh turmoil following the death of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley, as the family works to manage her late daughter’s estate.
New court documents appear to pit Priscilla against her granddaughter, Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough, as Priscilla challenges an amendment made to her daughter’s trust.
Priscilla has filed legal documents in a bid to set aside the 2016 amendment, which instructed that she be removed as a trustee and replaced by Riley, The Daily Mail reports.

Lisa Marie first executed a revocable living trust in 1993, which she amended and completely restated in 2010 to appoint her mother and former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-Trustees.
In 2016, she made another amendment to the trust, replacing her Priscilla and Siegel as trustees with her two eldest children, Riley and Benjamin Keough.
Tragically, Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, leaving Riley as the sole trustee for Lisa Marie’s estate following her death on January 13, 2022.
However, Priscilla is now questioning the “validity and authenticity of the amendment” according to legal documents filed to set aside the 2016 amendment.
Priscilla is “claiming it was never delivered to her, the date on the document is suspicious, the document misspells Priscilla’s name”, the court filing states.
Lisa Marie’s signature also “appears inconsistent with her usual and customary signature”, according to claims made in the filing.

It is understood that Priscilla hopes to make the 2016 amendment invalid in favour of the 2010 amendment, which would make her and Siegel co-Trustees of Lisa Marie’s estate.
Lisa Marie was previously engaged in a messy court battle with Siegel in 2018, when she sued him for allegedly mismanaging her finances.
Lisa Marie claimed that, as a result, her $100 million trust had shrunk to just $14,000 in cash by 2016. She cut ties with Siegel but the case was still pending as of 2021.
Her financial situation appeared to have improved in recent years, with Lisa Marie claiming in 2022 that she earned over $100,000 a month from ‘Elvis Enterprises.’
The Presley family were rocked by her sudden death from a possible cardiac arrest on January 13 and hosted a public memorial service last Sunday.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart in trying to help me get through this loss. Every parent who has lost a daughter or son knows what a dark painstaking journey it is.”
