Machine Gun Kelly’s guitarist Sophie Lloyd slams cheating allegations amid reported Megan Fox split

The woman dragged into the Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s rumoured breakup drama has spoken out for the first time.

Guitarist Sophie Lloyd was embroiled in the scandal after it was alleged she was the reason for the couple’s reported split

The musician joined MGK’s Mainstream Sellout Tour early last year, and fans believe she and the rapper may have been more than bandmates.

The allegations have since been rubbished by Lloyd’s team, who have vehemently denied the rumours in a statement provided to Page Six.

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” her management team told the outlet.

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue.

“It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

Rumours of a fling first broke out on social media when one fan wondered if Lloyd and MGK had been involved romantically, suggesting the guitarist played a role in his breakup with the Transformers alum.

When Fox posted a cryptic post on Instagram alluding to a split, one fan commented: “He probably got with Sophie.”

Fox saw the comments and did not confirm nor deny the allegation, but she did respond with a cheeky: “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Lloyd appeared to let the comment slide, instead spending Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend of five years, Christopher Painter. The drummer has been her biggest support and has been spotted at her tour shows with MGK.

Meanwhile, Fox and the rapper have been together since 2020 after co-starring on the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass. They were later engaged in January 2022, with the couple announcing the happy news on Instagram.

However, as of this week, MGK no longer appears on Fox’s account after she deleted all his photos from her page.
