Tom Brady has shared a cryptic ‘love’ message following his divorce from supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen.
The message was shared by the retired quarterback on his Instagram Stories.
It simply reads: ”Love is not a transaction; it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion.” Brady attributed the quote to author and spiritual guru Sadhguru.
Brady, 45, and Bündchen finalised their divorce in October 2022 following 13 years of marriage. They share two children together – Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10.
Brady also shares a son with actress Bridget Moynaha, Jack, 15.
Brady and Bündchen’s divorce took place following Brady’s decision to end his retirement and play another season of NFL. He has again retired after one season with the Buccaneers during which they were beaten by the Cowboys in the playoffs.
There has been speculation Brady’s decision to come out of retirement fueled the split.
Brady and Bündchen posted statements on Instagram announcing they had “amicably” reached the decision.
“The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,” Bündchen wrote on Instagram.

Brady has announced he will now Fox Sports as their lead NFL game analyst in 2024, signing a US$375 ($536) million contract in May.
Following his second retirement announcement, Bündchen, 42, shared a message on Instagram which read; “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.”
Brady is considered the greatest quarterback of all time. He spent his first 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and in his final three seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He retires with seven Superbowl wins, the most of any player.
Bündchen became one of the highest paid supermodels in the world in 2001 and has pursued a career in acting in addition to her charitable work.
There has been speculation she is dating her jujutsu trainer Joaquim Valente, having been spotted in his home town of Costa Rica.
Brady reportedly hasn’t been dating since the split.
“No, he isn’t formally dating anyone right now,” a source told Page Six. “His friends want to set him up, but he’s all about the kids.”
