“She isn’t getting back what she needs from Kanye,” an insider told People on July 30. “She was at the point that she flew to Cody to basically tell him their marriage is over and to say goodbye.”
Kardashian’s recent visit to see West, 43, saw her crying in the front seat of their car amid recent Twitter tirades from her husband that exposed personal family matters.
The source said West is committed to working on the relationship, but isn’t taking the necessary steps to improve things.
“He doesn’t seem to get what she is saying,” the source said. “He hasn’t changed anything that she told him needs to change. Kim is very torn. The last thing she wants is to be divorced with four kids. She knows that she will be fine financially, but her concerns are the kids and the partnership. She is moving towards a divorce, but who knows if she will actually sign papers.”
The couple share four children: daughters North, seven, and Chicago, two, and sons Saint, four, and 14-month-old Psalm.
Yesterday, another source revealed that Kardashian had “urged” West not to proceed with his presidential campaign and to concentrate on his mental health.
“Kim urged Kanye to not move forward with running for president, but he won’t listen,” an insider told People on July 29.
This week, it was also reported that the reality star has been confused over the state of their six-year marriage, and is feeling “trapped”.
“This is a very sad time for her. She’s really upset,” a source told People of Kardashian. “Kim feels trapped. She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life. But she doesn’t know what to do.”
