Jessica Alba gets emotional sending daughter Honor, 13, to school on her first day of eighth grade

Jessica Alba‘s 13-year-old daughter Honor is all grown up!

The Honey actress, 40, documented her eldest child’s first day of eighth grade in a series of Instagram photos. Honor wore a denim skirt, green cardigan and navy backpack for her return to school.

“Honor’s first day of 8th grade 📚✏️ A proud (& obviously crying 😫) mama,” Alba captioned the images.

Many of Alba’s fans commented on the striking resemblance between them.

“She’s your twin,” one user wrote, while another commented, “The resemblance is crazy.”

Alba is also the mother of Haven Garner, nine, and Hayes Alba, three, who she shares with her husband Cash Warren.

On Honor’s birthday in June, Alba shared a sweet message about how “proud” she is of her teenage girl.

“My teenager!!!! This is 13! Honor — yes you are way taller than me already, which you love to remind me. But you have a heart of gold, you are filled with compassion, you are wicked smart, silly, hilarious, and so kind… I’m just so proud of you,” she wrote at the time.
