‘It’s like a little festival on the street’: All the red-carpet action from the ARIA awards

Another year, another ARIAs done and dusted.

Last night, the who’s who of Aussie music gathered at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion to recognise this year’s outstanding music acts.

Superstars Natalie Imbruglia, Ruel and G Flip led the way as hosts, with the likes of Casey Donovan, Tones and I and Vance Joy gracing the stage with stellar performances.

“I’m feeling excited. It’s nice to be here,” Joy told 9Honey Celebrity on the red carpet prior to hitting the stage. “It’s kind of like a little festival on the street right now. This red carpet is huge.”

Another performance worth noting was that of trio Jessica Mauboy, Budjerah and Thelma Plum, who paid tribute to Uncle Archie Roach.

The iconic Indigenous Australian won a posthumous ARIA for Best Independent Release for his single Our Song, which he released in February this year a few months before his death.
