Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan has announced his engagement to his new fiancée.
According to Us Weekly, the former child star shared the happy news on his private Instagram account recently, posting a sweet message to his bride-to-be.
“You win some and you lose some,” the 40-year-old reportedly wrote alongside a photo of him hugging his fiancée as she showed off her diamond ring. “I’m thankful for a win … finally!”
Not much is known about Bryan’s soon-to-be-wife, but the actor was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Carly Matros.

In October 2020, one month after his marriage breakdown, Bryan found himself in trouble with the law when it was alleged he strangled his then-girlfriend at an apartment complex in North Eugene, Oregon.
According to Us Weekly, he agreed to a plea deal in which he pleaded guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault.
It was later revealed in a statement released by police that Bryan would be on probation for the next three years, and prosecutors agreed to drop six other charges against him, including strangulation and coercion. During his probation period, Bryan must also “attend and complete a batterers intervention program”.
The actor is best known for his role in Home Improvement, playing Brad Taylor, the eldest son of Tim Allen’s character, Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor.
Bryan starred in the sitcom for its entire run from 1991 to 1999.
