He first revealed he was dating Frane, 52, in March 2020. Their romance came 10 months after his wife Beth Chapman, died in June 2019 following a battle with throat cancer. She was 51.

Frane’s late husband, Bob, also died of cancer. Dog previously told TMZ how he and Frane connected over the death of their late spouses.

“With Francie I’m allowed to speak about Beth,” he said. “I talk about Bob, who was her husband that passed, and we cry and we hold each other.”

In the lead up to the wedding, Dog’s daughter Bonnie Chapman accused him of excluding her from the invite list. She told TMZ she and her half-sister Cecily, 28, didn’t make the cut, before calling her father out for racism, homophobia and infidelity.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t defend my Dad’s racism,” Bonnie wrote in a statement.

“When it comes to The System on UnleashedTV, my father was fired by the platform for using racial and homophobic epithets toward my fellow cast members on the show, which is about social justice advocacy and protesting violence and racial bias by police. I have expressed time and time again my ever-growing disappointment in my father’s progression into his old racist ways.”

Bonnie also accused Dog of cheating on her late mother throughout the entirety of their relationship.

“I had forgiven my father after my mother’s death for countless actions that I shouldn’t have,” she wrote. “He would cheat on my mom all the time, and I hated him every time he did it, but I forgave him for that because I wanted a relationship with my dad.”

Dog responded to the allegations by saying his daughter was attempting to spoil his upcoming nuptials. “Bonnie’s allegations are false and a misguided attempt to derail our wedding,” he wrote in a statement to Page Six last week. “I’m not perfect and have made some mistakes. I’m very appreciative of everyone who has spoken out on my behalf including my daughter Lyssa.”
