Days of Our Lives star Cody Longo has reportedly died. He was 34.
According to TMZ, which first broke the news, authorities discovered Longo’s body on Wednesday in bed at a home in Austin, Texas.
Longo’s wife of eight years Stephanie Nicole Clark, according to the outlet, had become concerned about Longo’s whereabouts and called police for a welfare check.

When police arrived at the Texas residence, the report states they found him dead.
“He was an amazing father and the best husband. Our whole world is shattered,” Clark told TMZ of her late husband.
Clark and Longo married in 2015. Longo is survived by his and Clark’s seven-year-old daughter, five-year-old son, and one-year-old son.

Longo is best-known for briefly playing Nicholas Alamain on the popular soap in 2011.
He also starred in Hollywood Heights, Wildflower, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, and, most recently, Longo played Jess in the television series High School Crimes & Misdemeanours.
Clark, who works at a local dance studio, is understood to have become concerned when she couldn’t reach her husband.

Authorities arrived at the residence and, per the outlet, kicked down the door when Longo didn’t answer them.
TMZ claims a family member told the outlet that Longo had struggled with alcohol abuse for many years, and had gone to rehab recently.
An official cause of death has not been revealed.
