Avril Lavigne had some biting words for a topless environmental protestor, who was forced off the stage after they dared interrupt her at Canada’s Juno Awards.
The incident took place near the start of the show, with the protestor managing to dodge security and jump the stage of the music ceremony, as the Complicated singer walked out to introduce rapper AP Dhillon, the first Punjabi act to perform on the Junos.
“I’m introducing an artist who’s blown up on the global music scene with the new wave of R&B, hip hop and pop records, fused…” she said, as the woman suddenly appeared onstage topless, and wearing pink pants.

On their back, the protestor had the statements “save the green belt” and “stop logging old growth now” which reference an issue in Ontario, not Alberta, Canada, where the Junos took place.
Variety reports Lavigne broke concentration when the protestor circled her with her arms extended in the devil salute.
With that, the singer spoke into the mic, “Get the f––k off. Get the f––k off b––h.”
After that, security was able to escort the protestor off, and Lavigne continued presenting.

Lavigne later won the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award for the fourth time and sent out another daring message to viewers.
“Now, nobody try anything this time or the Canadian is going to come out of me and I’ll f––k a b––h.”
The singer shared a number of tweets about the night afterwards, with one directly referencing the moment.
“Thanks to my amazing fans for voting for the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award. This is my 10th Juno Award and 4th Fan Choice Award. Let’s keep rocking and cheers to the next 20 years! P.S. – “Get the f––k off b––h!”
